The station is located in the village of Willand in Devon, UK.
The coordinates of the station are 50deg 53min 2sec north, 3deg 22min 26sec west
The station consists of an Oregon Scientific WMR912 weather station and includes a rain guage (see below), outdoor temperature and humididy sensor, anemometer and wind vane.

The rain guage is located is located 2.5 metres above ground level well away from "rain shadow" effects.

The temperature/humidity sensor is shielded from direct sun and is 5 metres away from the nearest building. It is 2 metres above ground level.

The anemometer is on a pole on the roof of a house. It suffers from a small amount of direction shift due to this but is generally accurate.

The barometer is situated indoors.
